In conjunction with the Martin Richard Foundation, the Columbia Savin Hill Civic Association has planned a weekend of service at Ryan’s Park (960 Dorchester Avenue). The schedule of events:
- Friday, April 13th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm: with the assistance of employees of John Hancock and ATS Equipment, we will do the heavy lifting of preparing for planting and the critical prep work for a new paint mural. All are welcome to assist! Other activities include painting, raking and mulch. Please meet at the park!
- Sunday, April 15th from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm: we will paint the mural, plant a new tree and other plantings along with painting park benches, and retaining wall. All levels invited and BRING THE KIDS! Again, meet at the park and bring a water bottle.
- Sunday, April 15th from 12:30 – 3:30 pm: listen to live music, paint for peace with Dot Art, and enjoy other activities for ALL AGES! This activity will occur in FIELDS CORNER at Town Field.
