WBZ NewsRadio 1030 and the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) present the 33rd annual Free Friday Flicks, a movie series at DCR’s Hatch Shell on the Esplanade in Boston:

Concerts In The Courtyard: Boston Public Library
The Boston Public Library’s Concerts in the Courtyard series runs now through Friday, August 31. The series features a wide range of free music in one of Boston’s most beautiful spaces. The one-hour concerts are on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and Fridays at 12:30 pm. See the website for the line-up of musicians.
Summer In The City events at Rowe’s Wharf
The Boston Harbor Hotel produces free concerts and films downtown on the waterfront. Events start at 6:00 pm. The lineup includes R&B on Tuesdays, big band/swing on Wednesdays, Blues on Thursdays, and classic movies on Fridays. The best transportation option is the MBTA: take any Red Line train to South Station and walk 3 blocks to the hotel. See map.
