The Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) has updated its meeting schedule for the 135 Morrissey project, the site of the former Boston Globe headquarters. CSHCA members may wish to attend, in particular, the Public Meeting:
Public Meeting: Wednesday, February 28 at 6:30 pm at the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester, McLaughlin Youth Center, 4th floor (1135 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA. 02125). This will be a general community meeting where the public can attend, share their comments, and learn more about the project proposal. Note: this meeting was originally scheduled for February 26, 2018.
The public comment period ends on March 12, 2018. Other project-related meetings:
Scoping Session: Monday February 26 at 2:00 pm at the BPDA offices located on the 9th floor of Boston City Hall. A Scoping Session is a meeting that the BPDA hosts with the development team for the different city agencies/departments and elected officials. This meeting will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions, and raise any potential concerns as it relates to their specific department/area.
Impact Advisory Group (IAG) Meeting: Tuesday February 27 at 6:30 pm at Boston College High School in the Murphy Alumni Room (150 Morrissey Boulevard, Dorchester, MA. 02125). This will be the first IAG meeting. Agenda: introductions, discussion about the role of IAG, the development team will provide an overview of the project, and questions/comments from the IAG.
